Beast Coast Coffee & Collectibles

In 2022, I explored the feasibility of opening a coffee and collectibles shop in my local town. To drum up interest and gage the appetite for a place like this, I created a brand and started some advertising to see what kind of response I’d get.

Social Campaign

Our social media campaigns focused on awareness, on building a social media presence, and on developing an email list. Through paid and organic advertising, we communicated plans to open a sports collectibles and coffee shop in the heart of Smithtown Village and ran several raffles and giveaways in exchange for email addresses. This helped us to gage interest in the project and to keep potential customers engaged and aware of our progress.

 
 

Website & Email Campaigns

Using the email list generated through our social media advertising, we blasted out weekly-ish emails to our followers with the intent of being entertaining first. We wanted people to be excited when the new email came out, so each week we’d recommend an interesting Instagram account to follow, a relevant sports article to read, something interesting on YouTube or Netflix to watch mixed in with a card of the week for sale on our website and some promotional offers as well.
